Happy Sprouts learning environments are welcoming, caring, safe, supportive and stimulating for children – we created Happy Sprouts to be your and your child’s second home. Our state-of-the-art learning spaces have been carefully crafted to inspire children to engage in active exploration and to develop strong connections with nature, other children, educators and the broader community.
These connections are further supported through our indoor/outdoor programs. Glass double doors open in each of our learning areas creating a natural flow between outside and inside. Children can make choices about where they enjoy their engagement.
The family owners are committed to maintaining a single-story centre so that all children have access to the outdoors – always. We engage our children at Happy Sprouts in the natural environment and show them how to respect and care for it.
Purpose-built to support our educational approach
Our Happy Sprouts Early Learning centre has been purpose-built to bring our philosophy to life in the real world so that each and every child thrives and reaches their full potential. Our indoor-outdoor environments support play-based learning experiences which nurture children’s innate curiosity as they complete individual tasks and participate in long-term projects.
Fresh air and open spaces
Our outdoor environments provide children with access to fresh air which has numerous benefits such as boosting their immune system. Our outdoor play areas include large open spaces with a range of physical challenges to support key developmental milestones including gross and fine motor skills. On the right kind of day, our stunning outdoor areas provide a perfect place to take a break or to take a nap.
Communication and social skills
Our purpose-built open learning environments and commitment to play-based learning provide the vital scaffolding for children to develop important social and communication skills. Our learning environments have been carefully designed to foster spontaneous communication and friendship between children and their peers.
